# Problems of the eSport industry

### eSports games lack a common rewarding mechanism for players

Although eSports games possesses advanced strategic and skill-based gameplays, the only benefit eSports players may derive from playing eSports games is fun, which is hardly a reward. And even when financial incentives are presented:

### Only Top-tier players can earn

Similarly to traditional sports, only top-tier professional players can profit in the eSports market. The majority of eSports participants (both semi-professionals and amateurs) earn next to nothing. This large earning disparity presents problems for all newbies to the business, since they cannot support themselves along the entire journey to go pro.

### eSports viewers or fans are still the underserved customer segment

Being the most populated but neglected segment in the industry, the fans normally give away their support to the players and receive nothing. There are very few ways for eSports fans and viewers to invest on the eSports industry.
